Who we are
Beacon Church is a vibrant, growing community of believers in Elk Point, SD. We meet each Sunday morning at 10am at to be
e a bright light that guides our families, communities and the world to Jesus.
Where we come from
In 2014, Pastor Johnny Helton brought a vision to the people of Morningside Assembly (Now called Restoration Church) that they were going to plant three churches along the I-29 corridor. Three years later, Morningside hired Pastor Ben to lead their worship department, but after a couple years, it became clear that God was calling them to take a step of faith and plant a church in Elk Point.
Where we're headed
We're believing that God is on the move and that in the coming months and years, we will see many people come to Christ, a growing local church formed and the power of the Holy Spirit on display in miraculous ways. We will be meeting frequently to study scripture, pray for each other and our community, and dream together of how we can partner with God to see an evangelistic outpouring in our area.
How Can I Help?
There are a few productive ways to partner with us. First, pray wholeheartedly that God would move in and through us. Second, get in contact with through any of the ways that are listed on this site, and let us know if you'd like to join us on Sunday.
